Facial Rejuvenation Dry Needling

What Facial Rejuvenation Dry Needling Involves
Facial rejuvenation dry needling at Life Performance Osteo is a standalone cosmetic service, kept separate from clinical osteopathic treatment. Fine, sterile, single-use needles are placed superficially into the skin and muscles of the face, with a few points on the body, to encourage local circulation and the skin's own repair response. It's based on Western anatomy and provided by Dr Phillip Murray (Osteopath), who has completed additional training in advanced facial dry needling; he is not a registered acupuncturist. Early research suggests it may help soften the appearance of fine lines and improve skin tone, but the evidence is still limited and results vary from person to person. Sessions run 45 minutes, for patients across Townsville, Belgian Gardens and North Ward.
The Initial Block
Usually six to eight sessions, weekly or fortnightly. Phil will confirm a plan with you after your first 45-minute session.
Skin changes gradually, so facial rejuvenation dry needling works as a course rather than a one-off. Nothing here is a promise of results.
How a Course Works
Maintenance
If you want to keep the effect going, a session every month or so is typical. Any effect is temporary and depends on skincare, sun exposure and general health.
What to Expect
Some people notice their skin looks fresher after the first few sessions; changes in fine lines, if they happen for you, tend to show over the course. Mild redness for a few hours is common and small bruises happen occasionally. Not suitable during pregnancy, with bleeding disorders or blood thinners, or with an active skin infection.
